TOD HALLMAN Fashion Stylist & Fashion Show Producer
Tod Hallman has been a standing figure in the fashion world, styling celebrities for red carpet events and both styling and producing fashion shoots for magazines, along with masterfully producing branded fashion events and shows for many years.
Some of Hallman’s celebrity clients include the cast of Desperate Housewives, Jennifer Hudson, Jodie Foster, Drew Barrymore, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, John Cusack, Regina King, Taraji P. Henson, Owen Wilson, Hilary Duff and music personalities Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Toni Braxton and Kelly Rowland. He has styled fashion shoots for Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Mademoiselle, Esquire, Entertainment Weekly, Details, Interview, Ebony, Flaunt, Paper Magazine and Seventeen, among others. Before he started styling, Hallman was instrumental in the launch of the fashion department at ITEM Magazine, and held the position of Fashion Director for IONA Magazine, a glossy high-end magazine aimed at the young women of color.
On a large scale, through his production company, THPFashion, Hallman executive produced the first ever, runway fashion shows and branded fashion event on the West Coast during the first weekend of last year’s Coachella Music Festival where he selected and booked four (4) exclusive contemporary designers to showcase their collections in a coveted invite-only event. Sponsors included PANDORA Jewelry, Hawaiian Tropic, Disney Consumer Products and Exhale Spa.
Hallman has produced fashion shows for designers such as Fendi, Carolina Herrera, J. Mendel, Alberta Ferretti, Yigal Azrouël, Naeem Khan, Cole Haan, Nanette Lepore, Tracy Reese, Kevan Hall, WHIT, SIWY Denim and Bebe and clients such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Westfield, AGTA, Gap 1969, IONA Magazine, South Coast Plaza, and PANDORA Jewelry. For the last several years since his Spring 2005 runway production for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Hallman is proud of his ongoing collaboration with prominent fashion designer Kevan Hall, for whom he has also produced a series of fashion shows for Lexus.
In the world of television, Hallman has been seen on “Entertainment Tonight,” Tyra Banks’ site TypeF.com, with bridal client Tia Mowry, TV Guide Channel’s “Fashion Wrap Grammy Awards Show with Lisa Rinna,” CW Network show “Beauty and the Geek,” as a Fashion Judge on seasons one and two of “America’s Next Top Model,” in the US and Germany as a Fashion Show Expert, E! “Style Networks” and “Fashion TV.” Most recently he co-hosted “Hollywood Today Live” breaking down SAG Awards fashion.
Hallman is frequently called upon as a voice within the stylist community. He has interviewed with The Associated Press, CNN, Newsweek/MSNBC, Elle, Mademoiselle, Women’s Wear Daily, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Hollywood Reporter and People Magazine who regularly interview him for his style tips.
